Our New Teeth In Two Day Process
Permanent New Teeth in Just Two Days
How It Works
Teeth in Two Days is an excellent option for patients who are struggling with failing teeth or dental work and who want to have a beautiful smile. It’s also a great option for people who wear dentures—they can experience strong, permanent teeth again!
Teeth in Two Days uses four to six dental implants per arch of teeth, depending on how much support is needed. Often, the patient has experienced bone loss in the area of the failing or missing teeth. Dr. Reich angles the implants and inserts them into areas of dense bone, providing strong support without the necessity for bone grafting.
Why Two Days?
Instead of attaching new teeth right after surgery, Dr. Reich takes a special scan of the mouth which is used to custom-make the temporary teeth. You’ll walk away with a denture and within two days you’ll get beautiful fixed-in teeth that are well-fitting and flexible so your newly placed implants don’t break.
Beautiful, Strong Final Teeth
During the implant healing process there will be changes in your mouth requiring a second scan after the implants have healed. Your final teeth are made from strong zirconia and are engineered to closely match the structure of natural teeth.
First Step: In-Depth Consultation
As a periodontist, Dr. Reich is an expert in implants, gums and the bone surrounding teeth. He’ll examine your teeth and mouth, take digital X-Rays and give you his expert recommendation on returning your dentition back to health and beauty. He’ll let you know if he thinks your teeth can be saved without great discomfort and cost to you. He’ll also let you know if you’re a candidate for Teeth in Two Days or if another treatment will work better.
Digital Planning for Optimum Results
The key to successful teeth replacement with implants is planning. Dr. Reich takes a 3D scan of your teeth, jaw and bone and uses this to plan the exact placement of the implants so that they are placed in strong bone, away from nerves and are positioned correctly to attach to a bridge of teeth.
Dr. Reich’s thousands of hours of experience in implant surgery and gum and jawbone treatment give him the knowledge to ensure that even the most complicated case can get successful results.
Minimally Invasive Implant Surgery
Dr. Reich uses his digital surgery plan to create surgical guides. They are used to guide the implants into the planned position. There is no need to cut open the gums or do any suturing, making the implant surgery minimally invasive.
During your surgery visit, Dr. Reich will extract any teeth and place bone grafts in any open sockets or gaps.
Dr. Reich and his staff know how to make sure the patients is completely comfortable during surgery, include providing sedation.
Beautiful New Permanent Teeth
Right after implant placement, Dr. Reich takes a photogrammetric [recording with photos] scan of your implants and mouth to calculate the precise position and orientation of the implants so that your provisional teeth can be designed to fit exactly. Any error in measurement can directly affect the long-term success of your implants.
Allowing the Implants to Heal
Once your implants have healed, Dr. Reich takes another photogrammetric scan and designs your final teeth. He uses ZIRPEEK® teeth, which are engineered to mimic the look and structure of natural teeth and to be unbreakable. The ZIRPEEK bridge is designed to absorb shock, which protects your implants. Other bridges were found to be prone to issues such uncomfortable jarring sensations, poor fit, speech impediments and breakage.
Each crown on the bridge is made from highest grade zirconia with natural translucency. They’re individually milled and placed on the bridge for the most natural aesthetic.
Keeping Your New Teeth for a Lifetime
Included in the cost of your Teeth in Two Days is your follow-up care. Post-surgery you’ll have visits with Dr. Reich two weeks later, then one month and two months. You’ll get more follow-up visits once your final teeth are attached and then complimentary annual checkups of your implants, including X-Rays and evaluations.
You’ll also be shown how to look after your new teeth and implants and they need to be cleaned like regular teeth to avoid periodontal disease. Regular cleanings with our expert hygienist will help keep your implants free of disease and in good shape.
Snap-In Dentures
An economical alternative to New Teeth in Two Days is Snap-in Dentures, also known as implant-retained dentures.
Snap-in Dentures provide strong denture stabilization and greater chewing power than dentures by themselves. They should still be removed at night for proper cleaning and comfort. In contrast, New Teeth in Two Days give near-natural chewing ability and are permanently fixed in.
Snap-in Dentures are a great option for existing denture-wearers. Dr. Reich places two to four implants in an arch and fits your denture or a new denture with snaps. The dentures are now securely placed and won’t require messy adhesives to keep in place or slip out unexpectedly.
